Why Choose Us?
We have a strong passion for providing our patients with not only lasting results but giving our patients the why behind their issues. We not only perform an in depth pelvic health assessment but an orthopedic one as well. We need the whole picture of the system at work not just a snapshot in order to provide you with the best quality care. This goes for our treatment philosophy as well, we believe hands on care is just as important as strengthening, loading, body mechanics, and functional movement patterns.
Reasons Why You Should Work With Us:
-
I am the one answering the phone and all of your questions instead of a front office or computer system relaying messages.
-
I do all sessions in the privacy and comfort of your home instead of a busy shared gym.
-
I specialize exclusively in pelvic health instead of it being an add on or afterthought for your treatment.
-
I provide 1:1 individualized care rather than handing off parts of your treatment session to someone without a pelvic health background.
-
I perform a full body assessment and ask questions pertaining to all body regions instead of treating the body as isolated segments to get to the why of the issue.
-
I have flexible hours as a working mom to accommodate your schedule instead of rigid hours that may be disruptive to your schedule.
-
I provide treatment in your home which allows for no travel or childcare instead of packing up your family to join outside the home for physical therapy.
About Your Therapist
My name is Deidra Fabbri Dunn, PT, DPT
Deidra graduated in 2019 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS). Since graduating she has specialized in Pelvic Health to empower both the female and male patients return to living their lives. This may mean not searching for a bathroom everywhere you go, being able to run with your kids without leaking, enjoy being intimate with your partner, or return to the exercise class you used to love!
Deidra has had a passion for Pelvic Health since learning about it while still in grad school. She felt that this was an area that had been continually underserved and overlooked. Deidra has made it her mission to help women learn about their bodies, create an open discussion about leaking, sex, bathroom habits, and childbirth in order to improve her patient's quality of life. We all have bodies and deserve to have hope and answers about what is going on.
Outside of physical therapy, Deidra lives in Lebanon, Indiana with her husband Alex, their daughter Ellie, and two doggies, Freckles and Gouda. She had her first baby in January 2023 who takes up most of her free time. Outside of her family she loves to explore new foods and restaurants, soak up sunshine, and utilize pilates for both her mental and physical wellbeing.
